El Palmar is a rural area close to the coastline. It has an interesting selection of bars, beach bars and restaurants to taste the best cooking of Cádiz, listen to live concerts or enjoy its wonderful sunsets.

El Palmar is a coastal area that belongs to Vejer de la Frontera, Cádiz, Spain. Stand out for its long beaches of smooth golden sand and turquoise water. Clearly the most beautiful Andalusian coast. Although the area has a lot of leisure options, stands out for offering a relaxed and pleasant stay to visitors, providing large areas to go for a walk, read a book or eat something watching the scenery.

Vejer de la Frontera maintains its typical Andalusian white houses with small courtyards and cobbled streets where you can interact with their friendly and hospitable people, who do not hesitate to recommend a restaurant or inform you about traditional festivals in the area.

Our business takes its name from the stone towers on the coast, which served to warn of danger from the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries. One of them, Castilnovo Tower with 17m high, is hollow and it can be visited. Can be reached after a pleasant walk of about 15 minutes to the beach of the same name, which ends at the salt river, which separates El Palmar from Conil de la Frontera.

Currently the coastal area is subject of a project that includes the construction of a large resort. There is strong public opposition the project, which has been channeled through the platform www.salvarelpalmar.es. From Las Dos Torres support this group and invite you to join it and maintain a low-impact tourism.
